“No child should ever feel forgotten. Every child deserves love, a warm bed and the opportunity to dream big. This orphanage is not just a building, it’s a family,” he said.

The launch was marked by emotional scenes, including songs and dances by the children, who welcomed guests with joy and radiant smiles. Local leaders and community members in attendance commended Ddamulira for his continued efforts to support vulnerable populations.

Well known for his work across Uganda, Ddamulira has supported numerous causes, including education and women’s health initiatives. The establishment of the orphanage represents a major milestone in his philanthropic journey, which he says is deeply rooted in faith and compassion.

Ddamulira’s Haven includes well-equipped dormitories, a dining area, and a recreational space. Plans are underway to establish a primary school within the facility to further enhance educational access for the children.
